Jake Kail Teaching: Living From the Secret Place
Welcome back to today's episode of The Gathering Tabernacle podcast! Today's episode we have a teaching from Jake Kail on living from the secret place. Jesus addressed the pharisees about their prayer life when He was here on earth. Jesus is not against corporate prayer; however, we should not be praying in front of others just to receive our own praise. No one grows in the Lord by accident. You don't have time to pray; you need to make time to pray. You need to have consistent practice in your prayer life and daily discipline. Find the right balance in serving (ministry) and sitting at the feet of Jesus in the secret place. You don't serve to get a relationship with Jesus but rather have a relationship with Jesus and He will show you how to serve. This is a good reminder to go back to the basics. Sometimes we forget the simplicity of God's instructions for us. If you don't understand the bible when you read it, please understand that God's Word will still feed you even when you don't understand why. There are different ways to read the bible that will be explained in this episode. Prayer is not about saying the right words but rather about relationship with God. At the end of this episode, we invite you to join us in prayer and ask yourself, what is my next step?
