Welcome back to The Gathering Tabernacle Podcast! If you are not willing to lay your life down and allow God to change your heart, then revival will only be a memory. When you don't want to receive the truth, it will sound like hate.
It's never just been about going to heaven or hell. The more you follow Jesus, the more He will change you. The problem with the church is they want to receive the miracles of God, but don't want to receive His character. You are called to walk as Jesus walked. You are chosen and called worthy because of Him within you. As a Christian you need to be continuously learning, growing, and dying to your flesh. Jesus died in the garden before He died on the cross. He shows you how to lay your life down and live for the King. Learn how to be a mature Christian. Stop relying on children's ministry to raise your children and learn how to train them as the warriors of God that Christ has called them to be. Stop making excuses why you are not pressing into the Lord like you have been convicted to do. We must be willing to change our hearts and have reformation if we want revival to remain.

They want pastors and leaders and preachers to tell them what they want to hear instead of what the word of the Lord is. They want people to entertain them instead of draw them into an intimate relationship with God. And the assignment to call upon every man and woman of God that's called to the five-fold ministry is not to preach sermons to you and entertain you. It's not to really just teach you about the Bible. I know that that's really what we think that pastors and leaders do, but it's really not just to teach you about the word. The honest truth is if you're a real Christian, you're going to know the word for yourself. Boy, that gets tight right here. Now, it is it is a gift to bring revelation and understanding that, but if you're still just getting your word from a preacher and a teacher, look at me. I love you, but it's time to grow up. It's time to grow up. You, you, you, you, come on, you got to get off the teeth, and it's time that you begin to open the book and that you begin to learn the word of God and hear the voice of God for yourself. He said, My sheep, hear my voice and follow me. You got to hear the voice of God. You got to want the voice of God. You got to grow. You'll never grow without the word of God. And you got to come to a place where you start feeding yourself. Amen. But the truth is, five-fold ministry is for the purpose, according to Ephesians chapter 4, for you to come to the fullness of the stature of Christ. I'm going to preach in just a moment, but this I promise you is the foundation for the message I'm getting ready to preach. Because our job, really, in all honesty, is to challenge you, to minister to you the word of God until you come to the fullness of the stature of Christ. That means you grow up until you look like more like Jesus and you look like Billy, Tom, Bob, Mary, Sue, Betty. Come on, that is the job. And to not let you settle for anything less than coming to the fullness of the stature of Christ. And to do that, you have to be challenged, you have to have the truth. But how many of you know that when you don't want to hear the truth, the truth sounds like hate? When you don't want to hear the truth, the truth sounds like hate. When God puts his finger on something in your life, you don't want to change. It seems it seems offensive. They wanted to kill people in the Bible for that, by the way. Hello. They uh they wanted to stone men in the Bible because men told the truth and said what God said. But it is a challenge, you guys, because people get angry with you, because they feel like that you're forcing them when all you're trying to do is do what God asks you to do for people. And it's a tough place, it's not an easy journey. And I just want to take a moment and honor the leaders in the room today that are faithful to that call to bring men and women into the fullness of the stature of Christ and challenge people, regardless of who leaves them, who walks away from them, who stands with them. Come on, we just have to obey God over what responses of people may be, because our obligation is to God, because at the end of this thing, when it's over and done, our standard and a and a and a more challenging judgment than just the average because we have taught others the word. And that's a pretty serious responsibility. And so our obligation is to God. And uh people want you to be to them, but it can't. It has to be to God. Is this all right? And I'm just telling you, we need to pray for our leaders that are that are speaking the truth, that are that are fulfilling the call and the assignment and the mandate of God. Stand with them in prayer, stand with them to pray for them, encourage them, because they're helping us to become who Jesus died for us to become. Can I get an amen in the room? Come on. And here's the challenging part. Let me let me just share with you. Here's the deal. This is the mindset of Americanized Christianity. We don't need preachers. I can hear from God for myself. Oh, really? Well, that ain't what the Bible said. God said, I give apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers for the maturing of the saints, for the work of the ministry. I need them and they need me. Here, watch this. And not only is it the five-fold ministry, but the Bible says we're the body of Christ, many members that are fitly joined together, that each joint supplies to the other. That means I need you and you need me. Come on, we can't grow without each other. We can't mature without each other. It takes the whole body working together and becoming who Jesus died for them to become, that we minister to each other, that we grow up and mature and be edified in the love of God, which is the nature of God. Wow, I'm preaching good and I ain't even got to my sermon yet. Amen. And even the people in the pulpit with the microphone, guys, I promise you they need you. And you know what? Sometimes they just need encouragement, they need prayers, they need support, they bleed, they hurt, they need you to understand that God, whether you like it or not, chose to put divinity in humanity. And there's only been one perfect human. Hello? There's only one that was been perfect. We're all still clay on the potter's wheel, hello? But it's still divinity in humanity. And you can choose to see the humanity or you can choose to receive the divinity that God put in them for you. Is that all right? Boy, it's a terrible thing when you when all you can see is the humanity and you can't receive the divinity. And and and every one of us in this room need to understand that whatever we do for God is because of the divinity that is in us. Everybody with me today. It is because of the God in us and not because of the power of our flesh. Hello? And we're still all dying to that every day. And you know what? Somebody, and can I tell you, dying to the flesh, you don't ever get there. You didn't hear that. You never get there. Because it has to die every day. And you say, well, I don't got no problems today. You may not, but you'll have one tomorrow. Because somebody's gonna cut you, somebody's going to harm you, somebody's gonna be responsible to that every single day. How many of you die well every day? Sometimes I die messy. Am I the only one in here that dies messy? You know, I everybody thinks they just die cute. We don't die cute. Listen, even Jesus didn't die cute. See, that makes people mad. Jesus died in the garden before he died on the cross. Hello. And he died, he couldn't do that with Peter and James and John close to him. He had to go further than where they went because he had to be in a place where he died with him and the Father, and he cried out. And the Bible said that he groaned within himself in the journey of dying to flesh. Dying ain't pretty. Hello? Dying's not fun. And sometimes, you know, when we're in the pulpits, guys, and we're the ones leading, sometimes our dying ain't pretty either. But thank God we're dying because when we die, resurrection power works. So just remember when your leaders are dying, they're also being resurrected. Just know that the more they die, the more resurrection power works in them. And as they're gracious to walk with you through the journeys of spiritual maturity, walk with them through this through the journey of spiritual growth as well. Pray for your leaders. Pray for these great leaders. God told me four years ago, He said, Son, I'm sending revival to America, but I'm sending America just like Elijah said, and Elijah said, I'm all alone. There's nobody here. But there were 7,000 that had not bowed their knee to the bell of that generation. And you know what? We got pastors and the leaders in this room that have not bowed their knee to the bell of this generation, but they have stood their ground in prayer and led great churches. And I believe I'm standing in one of the churches that is going to lead revival through America. Amen. I believe that. I believe that every one of these leaders represents churches and people throughout rural America, that we're going to see revival. So listen, get behind them, pray. You got great leaders. Amen. Turn your Bibles to Romans chapter 8, verse 29. I promise you that was a foundation to what I'm about to preach. Uh Romans chapter 8. I titled this a unique message. I titled it Revival Without Reformation is Just Noise. I couldn't think of anything better, so that's the best I could write. So if you're taking notes, I just I just titled it Revival Without Reformation is Just Noise. Romans 8 29, for whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called, and whom he called, them he also justified, and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we say to these things? If closely at verse 32, he that spared not his own son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Would you shout that with me? All things. Do it one more time, all things. Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died. Yea, rather that is risen again. Who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us? Who shall separate us from the love of Christ shall tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword. It is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. How many of you ever heard that? We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Everybody heard that? He quotes that, but then look at what the next verse says. Look at what the next verse says. Nay. Shout that with me, nay. Anybody want what nay means? Means no. Shout that again, no. No. In all things, we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. So the next time you hear a preacher try to tell you you're a sheep for the slaughter teaches, the word teaches, nay, you are more than a conqueror. Say that with me, we're more than conquerors. Say it again, we're more than conquerors. We are not sheep that are head to the slaughter. He took the place. He became that sheep, that lamb that was for the slaughter, that through his death, through his resurrection, we might walk in victory. Boy, I feel the Holy Ghost in the room. I want to talk to you tonight, first and foremost, about the fact that most of us in the in traditional Americanized Christianity have actually been lied to. Do you realize that if you don't tell somebody the whole truth and you tell them a partial truth that does not include the whole truth, that's just as much as a lie. I'm gonna say it again, it's just as much as a lie. And unfortunately, in Americanized Christianity, we have been taught that the death and resurrection of Jesus was nothing more than for you to get out of hell and go to heaven, that your sins could be forgiven so that you could go to heaven, and that really all that Christ died for, because they didn't tell you the whole truth was eternity. And that we think that the only aspect of salvation is about eternity. And we think that the only reason our sins had to be forgiven was so that we could go to heaven. But guys, that is not the totality of the new covenant. That is not New Testament Christianity. It was never just about heaven and hell. It's never been just about heaven and hell, and they are both for eternity. According to my Bible, they are both for eternity, and hell is somewhere you don't want to go. But it's more than just about hell. I need you to understand Jesus didn't just die for your sins to be forgiven. He died and rose again, that your sins could be forgiven, that God could come and live and dwell inside of you by the Holy Spirit, that you could be born again and transformed into who God originally created you to be so that you could be delivered from your sins. He did not just die for the forgiveness of your sin, but he died for you to be delivered from your sins. Come on, grace has never been a license to sin. It is the empowerment of God to live righteously and live holy. It is the empowerment of God, not the liberty of God to do what you want to do. Never has been, never will be. People say, Well, you can't overcome the flesh. Well, whoever told you that is a stinking liar. I'm not just gonna call, I'm gonna call him a liar because the Bible said that if I walk in the spirit, I will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Somebody say, if I walk in the spirit, say it again, if I walk in the spirit, I will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Walking is something you have to learn to do every day and mature and grow into it. It is not an event. Sanctification is not an event, it is a journey. The Bible says it as I behold him in a mirror or a glass, darkly. The Bible said as I behold him, I'm changed into that same image from glory to glory. Everybody say, I'm changed. Say it again, I'm changed into that same image from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord. As you walk in the Spirit, God is transforming you into his own image. That's why the Bible says, that's why the Word of God, not me, the Bible said, be not conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of your mind. The more that you follow him, the more you're being changed. Come on, the more that you walk in him, the more you're being changed. Why do you think Jesus' message was not come to an altar and repeat a prayer? If you say this, you will go to heaven. That has never been the gospel. The gospel is take up your cross and follow me. And then he told you, listen, if you're gonna follow me, sit down, get your little calculator out on your iPhone and start calculating the cost of what it's gonna cost to follow me. He said, You're gonna have to hate your father, your mother, your wife, your children, yay, even your own life, or you can't be my disciple. What does that mean? That means I'm gonna have to love God. I'm gonna have to love God more than I love any other human being on the planet. Let me tell you why. That's because I can't let a person be an excuse for me not obeying God. Oh, y'all didn't hear me preach tonight. See, if you if you want to be a Christian and you want to live victoriously and you want the triumph victories that the Bible refers to, then you gotta learn how to follow God every day and not use Christianity as an event on Sunday morning. It's gotta be an everyday life because there's always gonna be people that are gonna try to pull you out of the will of God. Jesus' own word as it relates to salvation, redemption, talks about the parable of the sword, the seed of God. The Bible said that I've been born again in the book of Peter by an incorruptible seed, which is the word of God. And the Bible talks about the parable of the sword. The sword went out to sow the come on, which is uh the word of God. Some fell by the wayside. That's people that never put their faith in God, and the enemy comes and snatches it away before it ever germinates and takes root. Are you following me? And then some was sown on stony ground. Stony ground is this, according to the scripture. It's when that seed is sown in your life and it springs up. Everybody springs up. I need y'all to follow me tonight. You got to get this because that means you got born again. That means that life began to come up in you. That means you felt the effects of regeneration, lest a man be born again into the spirit of God. I'll can I give you, I feel the Holy Ghost. Let me give you the great, let me give you the great, the great metaphor of that. The Bible says that the Spirit of God overshadowed Mary. And when the Spirit of God overshadowed Mary, guess what happened? She became pregnant with the word of God.

Ah!

SPEAKER_04

I feel, and when the Holy Spirit and the word of God comes upon you, it creates a miracle called regeneration. I can take you back to the Old Testament when he stood in the valley of the dry bowl and he said to Ezekiel, He said, Prophesy, prophesy the word of the Lord. Prophesy. And then he said, Speak to the wind and command the wind. When the spirit and the word come, dead things live. Come on, when the spirit of God and the word of God comes, dead things live. We get born again. Everybody shout, we get born again. And see, when the seed of God comes, here's what you got to understand. He said, if it's sown on stony ground, when persecution comes for the word's sake, let me tell you what's gonna happen. When you get born again, people that are not born again is gonna hate the fire on the inside of you. Come on, I'm gonna preach real. Some of your religious family have been in church all their life. If you really get born again and get on fire for God, they're gonna think you're in a cult. They're gonna think you've been brainwashed because their Americanized Christianity looks nothing at it. It's not what I do on Sunday morning. It's who I am seven days a week, 24 hours a day. It's what I live just as fervently at the workplace on Thursday as I did in the pew on Sunday. Wow. Because real Christianity changes you. Real Christianity makes you the light of the world, and light dispels darkness. And if people have darkness in their light and you become the light, then your light makes their darkness angry. And they'll pull back from you, they'll pull away from you. And if you're not grounded in God, you'll let what they say and how they influence you cause you to leave as well. It'll cause you to back away. That's why Jesus said, You gotta love me more than you love anybody else. I'm preaching good in the room. Persecution comes. Watch this. Everybody thinks there ought to be perfect unity in the church. You want revival in the church. Well, you better get ready for the biggest storm you've ever had in your life. Because when real revival comes, it doesn't bring great growth. It'll bring great separation. Oh, we revival in the initial stages in the move of God is exciting. It's wonderful because it brings people in. They're excited because sinners can feel the presence of God. And people validate their want with God because they felt the presence of God. Just because you feel the presence of God don't make you right with God. Because if you keep coming in the presence of God, the fire is where the light comes from. That's why they were made the light of the world, because they were baptized in the Holy Spirit and that's why you got to have oil in your lamp if you're gonna have fire. But here's what happens when that fire comes, when that light comes. Are y'all ready for me? All of a sudden it starts exposing that guy's that guy's porn addiction, that guy's jealousy, that guy's misinterpretation of the Bible. When God shows up, he starts confronting you with truth. He starts confronting you with things in your life that you may not want to change. Well, I don't know if I'm in the right place today. It's getting tight. Jesus said, I didn't come to bring peace, I came to bring a sword. Read the Bible. He didn't come to make everybody happy. He came to bring, he said, I'll turn a mother against a daughter and a daughter against a mother. I'll separate families because light and darkness can't coexist. Can I look at me? Lukewarmness will not stay where there is the fire of God. It won't stay. God will start confronting bad doctrine. He'll start confronting bad belief systems. Wow. And people that want to stay where they are, that want to believe things contrary to the Bible, people that want to keep fornicating, keep gossiping, keep being jealous. People that I'm telling you, I'm preaching good today. And you know what? It'll start causing an offense. You gotta, and persecution will start arising. People you're on fire for God, they want you to tone it down. They want you, we don't need you. Listen, we were comfortable before all this went on. Why you gotta bring your Bible to every family reunion? Why you gotta always talk about Jesus? Why you always talking in tongues and why are you always talking about things that that don't matter? And why you always because this is not an event for me. This is who I am. This is not something I'm putting on on Sunday morning. It becomes the DNA of who I am, and out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaking. Y'all gonna hear me pray. Preach when your heart's full of the world. Your vocabulary is worldly. Your desires are worldly. But when you're sold out to God, the things of God flow out of you. You can't shut it off because you went to work. You can't turn it on around your brothers and sisters and then turn it off when you get around your coworkers. Because what's in you comes out of you. And if you got outward religion, religion is behavioral modification. True New Testament Christianity is spiritual transformation. It comes from the inside out because your heart got transformed. Your spirit man got changed. Are y'all with me today? So there's coming persecution. If you're going to live for God, there's always going to be people come and go because they're coming and go, ooh, this is good. I felt the Lord. Oh, great. I just love you. I just love your excitement for Jesus. It's wonderful. But then when God puts his finger on that unforgiveness in their life, they're going, well, you know what? I kind of like being angry. I like being. Because their identity and their literally their life evolves around being hurt, being wounded. You realize that some people thrive in being hurt? Some people thrive in being argumentative. Help me, somebody. Their identity is in the fact that they always argue. But God's going to put his finger on that because you can't reflect Jesus being argumentative. Oh. You can't reflect Jesus when you've always got to be right. If you're always right, that means you're unchangeable. Hello? People that are always right are unteachable. Wow. You know, I'm 30, still coming into revelations. I'm still coming in to understandings of the word. And you know what? I've had to go back and pull some nails out of some things. I drove them in pretty deep. Hello, because I I saw in part, I prophesied in part, but then I got a deeper revelation. Anyone with me today? But the problem is we get to a place and we say, I got all there is, I know all there is. I know it. I know the word. I know the word. But the problem is they ain't continually growing. So that anyway, at the end of the day, then there comes the cares of the world. The Bible said, What happens when you get offended because you get choked out? The Bible says it springs up and gets choked out. Everybody say choked out. Say it again, choked out. Say it again, choked out. What do you think it means for it to get choked out and die? It dies. It withers to nothing. And the influence that was there, and the influence that moved you, that compelled you, that led you is all of a sudden now. Not there. So if the spirit of God ain't leading you, who is? I'm gonna say it again. If the spirit of God's not leading you, who is? Your carnal mind, your flesh, everybody hear me. What you sow into is what grows. If you sow to the flesh, your flesh will grow and you will reap death. If you sow to the spirit, come on, your spirit man's gonna grow. Come on. The more I yield to this, the more the spirit man grows, come on, the more I look like Jesus. The more I'm transformed into his image, which is the predestined plan of God for everyone in this room. God predestined you to be conformed into the image of Jesus. So everything heaven has is fighting for you to become who Jesus died for you to become. Heaven is moving for you to become who every man of God is moving, and every woman of God, every friend of yours that is full of God and loves God is moving and fighting and doing everything in his power to get you to conform into the image of Jesus. And anytime the church is not challenging you and not encouraging you and not motivating you to be more like Jesus and holding you to the highest of standards of Christ, it is failing at his job. Wow, you got tight. You understand that anything that fights to keep you from being like Jesus. Wow. You say, that's blasphemy to be like Jesus. I didn't write it. The Bible said, walk even as he walked. In the beginning, he created man in his own image. When he got ready, he said, let me think he was referring to. Who do you think he was referring to? Every dynamic of who God is the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost. These three are one. What do you think that it means in John 14, 23, when he said, If you keep my words, my Father and I will make our abode in you. That means not some third watered down, third dimension of some aspect of who God is. It means the fullness of God. When the Holy Spirit comes, you get him all. Wow. And he begins to change you into his image. Say into his image. That's not my word. This is the word of God. So God is fighting. Not listen, heaven's fighting because the Bible says that Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for us. For us to what? Be in the image of Jesus. Somebody say to be in the image of Jesus. Why do you think Jesus said, the works that I do greater shall you do because I'm going to the Father? Wow. See, the problem is we want the miracles of God, but we don't want the character of God. It got tight in here. We want the miracles of God, but we won't want the character of God. Do you realize that you can have tongues, revelations? You could even be a martyr. Some obedience mean nothing. He said tongues without the character of God, which is love. God is love. So that is the character of God. That's the nature of God. That's the DNA of God. Somebody shout love. If your gifts are not motivated by love, let me tell you what your tongue says. Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. But your tongues become effective when it's motivated by the character of God. Woo! Somebody say God's changing us. And you've got to understand when we're talking about revival, revival is not meant to put people in pews. Revival is meant to bring change. Change to what? Change so that you and I become who Jesus destined for us to become. Because listen, you and I as a church are not an institution. We're not a 501c3. We're not one name here, one name there. This is not the begathering, the gathering tabernacle and relevant or whoever. This has never been about church names. It has always been that we're not an institution. We are, according to Ephesians chapter 1, read the book. We are the body of Jesus. Somebody say the body of Jesus. Say it again, the body of Jesus. The last verse of chapter 1, Ephesians says, the church, the body of Christ, the fullness of him that filleth all in awe. That's not my word. That's his word. So who is the church? It's supposed to be the fullness of him that fills all in awe. What do you think the greater works than these meant? There is no greater works than regeneration. There is no greater works than getting a man out of a grave four days dead. Do you understand? There is no greater works. He healed the sick, he opened the blind. He did every phenomenal miracle that could ever be committed. And the Bible said that if all the miracles that he did were written in book form, the world couldn't hold the books. Wow. Listen, just the miracles that we have now, look at the confusion and the fighting and the arguments that it causes in mainline denominations and in the body of Christ today. My God, we fighting over tongues. God helped that you would spit on the dirt and wipe it in a man's eye and his blind eyes open. I imagine that would cause a sure church split. That's not God. They didn't think it was God when he came walking on the water either. See, anytime something looks different than the way you think God ought to move, the first thing we do is think it ain't God. The first time God that moves in a way that is not familiar to your understanding or your familiarity, we we think it's not God. Do you realize when they said that it's a spirit, if you study that Greek word, that word there means a spook. They thought he was a ghost. You know what that would have been in the American eyes? That's a demon. They're calling Jesus a demon. And how many people call the move of God a devil? They call the move of the Holy Spirit. That's the devil. How many of you ever grew up in church where they call tongues the devil? Come on, speaking in tongues, that's the devil. But you know why? Because they don't understand it. They don't understand prophecy, they don't understand miracles, they don't understand healings. Who was it said to me the other day? I I don't know, it may have been, I don't know who it was, said to me the other day. It was an argument with an evangelical denominational guy, and they said, Oh, God don't do that no more. God don't heal no more. They said, Why do you have prayer requests in your church then? Why do y'all have a prayer list? Why do y'all take prayer requests? Why is all those people praying for healing and praying for their cancer and praying for their for their gallstones and praying for kidney stones and praying for Aunt Betty who's suffering with high blood pressure? Why do y'all smit? The problem is they want God to heal in a way that they can comprehend that that deals with the familiarity of their dead institutionalized unbiblical Christianity. Oh, I'm I'm preaching good tonight. I'm preaching good. You may not like it, but it's good. You gotta understand real revival brings reformation. Real revival has to bring change. See, we want revival, we don't want God to change us. We want revival, we want to feel the presence of God, we want the glory of God, we want the tangible, tangible presence of God. We want miracles, but we don't want God to change things in us. We don't want God to deal with flesh, we don't want God to deal with raw mentalities, we don't want God to deal with wrong ideologies. And listen, when you get revival, God's going to show up in some ways you ain't ever seen him before. Because he's God. Wow. I can only imagine if right now that the Lord just said, hey, so and souls over there is dumb and deaf, spit on your finger and wipe it on their tongue. And I just said, stick your tongue out. See, y'all are laughing. But Jesus did that. See, y'all are laughing. We think it's funny. And Jesus man, I went his spit on a man's tongue. I wonder if that happened in America. Well, that was Jesus. Well, you're supposed to be just like him. That means that he moves in ways that we may not really understand the full magnitude of why hello. We may not be able to Jesus turned to people, speaking in reference to what would become futuristic, really, of receiving the Holy Spirit. He said, Unless you eat my body and drink my blood, you have no part with me. He wasn't just talking about the great juice and the bread. He was talking about being made a partaker of Him. Hello. He was talking about the indwelling presence of Almighty God living inside of them. They didn't understand it. They're thinking cannibalism. And you know what? He didn't stop and say, Oh, excuse me, I didn't mean to offend you. Y'all come and I'll explain myself. He just turned around and said to the other ones, Y'all want to leave too. See, that's a Christianity you and I can't understand today. Because we we think that everything's got to make perfect sense to us. We think everything's got to fit into the way we want it to fit into our life because we've done this for the last 27 years. And then God wants to move and start dealing with stuff and start changing us into his body, into his image, that we carry his glory. Look, the same glory that you give me, I give to them. The same glory that just as you and I are one, so they also will be one. What does that mean? That means we carry his nature. That means we reveal the character, the nature, the authority, the character, the power, the authority of God in the earth. But look at me, you can't have the authority without the nature. They don't come separately. And it comes through spiritual maturity, guys. Say spiritual maturity. Somebody say we got to grow up. We got to mature. We got to follow Christ and be changed from glory to glory to glory. You can't quit pursuing him. You can't back off. Why do you think Hebrews says God takes no pleasure in those that draw back? But he said he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. I'm not seeking him for people in pews.

SPEAKER_02

I'm seeking him so that he'll keep changing me into his image.

SPEAKER_04

That the more I behold him, the more I bear his image. Glory to glory to glory. That my life, watch this. You're not like this. But here's what happened. Now, Christianity is not what I do inside the building. Outreach is not what my pastor organizes. Ministry is not passing an offering plate. Ministry is me not teaching the children only. Let me tell you what's happened. Dads, you want to taste them in the morning? When you grow up, you'll quit letting children's church train your children to be Christians. Because when you become a real Christian, you will know the word for yourself. And you, daddies, will raise your children in the nurture and the admonition of the Lord instead of sticking them in another room to let somebody in the church do the job God called you to grow up and do. Well, I'm preaching good in here today. Now all of a sudden, now all of a sudden, here y'all ready for this? You sure you're ready for this? You sure you're ready for this? Watch this. If I'm really growing to be like Jesus, then I am constantly telling people about who he is. Witnessing is not optional. Testify, it becomes part of the DNA of what I do. I do what he did. Oh, y'all ain't hearing me. Come on, and I'm not doing it out of a religious discipline. I'm doing it out of the character of who I am. Are y'all following me? So I can't be quiet about this thing. I've got to tell people about redemption. I've got to tell them about transformation. I've got to tell those that are in bondage that, hey, look, we've come to set the captives free. Wow. Revival brings transformation. And when you grow up, let me tell you what happens. You become more than a conqueror. You become to triumph over things that other people fall under. You begin to become victorious over things that used to have made you stumble. You become triumphant over things that were setbacks for you. Now things that used to be setbacks have become stepping stones. Because the more that you're transformed, the more that you allow God to change you, the more victorious you become every single day of your life. Wow. Can I give you a metaphor and I'm going to close at this? It's not a metaphor. It's really a foreshadow. The first event that happened after God after God proclaimed from heaven, this is my son. See, when you begin to really walk in your identity, when you get reborn, when you get born again, regenerated, and your identity is pronounced of who Jesus really died for you to become. This is identity. Not a folded arm spectator. Not a little oh, it's just so hard to be a Christian. We're just no sinners saved by grace. The devil is a liar. My Bible said I am an heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus. That is not my word. That word joint heir means we're co-equal. We are the sons and daughters of God chosen by God to bear the image of God. You're called to be the hands and feet. If you don't like the condition of the world, guess what? God chose you to change it. Ah. You don't like the darkness in the world? Then turn the light of God on in the darkness and go back in the closet. I'm telling you, we don't like the condition of our families, then let's do something about it. We don't like the condition of our school system, then let's be the minute. When you start being a Christian and leading people to Jesus, there'll be a riot in America. They'll burn curious arts and black magic in the middle of the streets. Yeah, yeah. There'll be riots. They'll be picketing this church. The meth dealers. They'll be trying to shut y'all down because they're going bankrupt because they ain't got nobody to buy their dope. That's what happened in Ephesus. Nobody to buy their silver, their little silver goddesses of Diana. And the silversmiths were going bankrupt. So he said, we better kill these people. That's the kind of warfare we're really supposed to live in, not the Baptists fighting the Pentecostals. That's real warfare. We're so far away from who Jesus died for the church to become. There has to be reformation. Revival is not to put people in pain. Revival is to change us. And the reason that revival stops is because people decide I don't want to change no more. They come to the place that the most dangerous place you'll ever be as a Christian. I'm good. The day you're good is the day your eternal salvation is in jeopardy. I'm good. I'm mature enough. I'm good. I'm good. Is the day that God says you're in a position where any moment you will be spewed out of his mouth. I don't want to be puked, vomited, and regurgitated out of the mouth of God. And God help whatever theologian or whatever godless human being that had an intellectual understanding of the word that tried to write that lukewarmness was a good thing. God helped that guy that tried to say about the streams that flowed and that the coal that the cold was good and and the lukewarm was good. What a what a devilish if it was good, why would God vomit you out of his mouth? There's nothing good about it. When you're okay, it's a bad thing. Because you know what? We're supposed to, to the day we see him eyeball to eyeball, be changed into his image from glory to glory. It's a never-ending journey of the pursuit of God. And where there's no hunger, there's danger. And the problem that revival stops is because people don't want reformation. They don't want I'm I just don't need to do that anymore. It's just emotionalism. It's too noisy. Listen, I need to just say something to the people who just think that there's no emotions, there's no expressiveness, should be in your worship and in your prayer time. Don't go to heaven. You're gonna hate it. You will never make it there. You will never make it in heaven. Because day and night, day and night, never-ending day and night, they are crying, holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty. And while they're crying, and while the 24 elders are throwing down their crowns and worshiping and crying and crying, holy, holy, holy. If you don't think that's not emotions, then what is it? If you don't think it's not worship of expressiveness, then you're gonna hate heaven. Let me just say something to you. If you don't have that same kind of worship here, you won't make it there to have it. Because that means if you don't worship here like that, that's because you don't know him now. And his words will be to you, I never knew. Because real worship does not come out of my religious tradition. It does not come out of how I was raised. Worship comes out of my revelation of who he is. And when I'm walking with him every day, when I'm seeing him every day, when I'm abiding in him, and he's abiding in me, and we're walking together, and we're talking together, and I'm seeing his splendor, and I'm experiencing his glory, and I'm experiencing his holiness, and I'm experiencing the DNA of who he is. I have to worship. I don't just worship on Sunday morning. I worship every day. I worship when I leave the church services and I go back to my hotel room. I worship God because He's just as holy when I'm out of the pulpit as his when I'm in the pulpit.

SPEAKER_02

And he's just as holy as 7 a.m. in the morning getting ready for work.

SPEAKER_04

I didn't get a glimpse of him on Sunday morning. I walk with him on Tuesday. And he's holy on Tuesday. He's magnificent on Thursday. He is indescribable on Wednesday. Worship comes out of Revelation. Don't get mad. I'm just telling you, we are going through visitation rights with God. And our king is getting ready to return. And our God is celebration. If you don't believe it, read. Right before the king came, there was a great awakening. There was a sound that came, that woke up the virgins, the church. It's not a metaphor, it's real. And the Bible said that those that had oil, that they turned their lamps on. And there was a bright light that illuminated the darkness. That the whole world would see the coming of the king. And I'm telling you, God's raising up his bride. He's getting his church ready for the coming of the king. Biblical, biblical prophecy is unveiling itself simultaneously on a global scale. Not from country to country, but on a global scale. From a biblical perspective, not an Americanized version. This is an American, it's happening globally, guys. And it's centered around where else? Jerusalem. Get ready. The king's coming. And revival is about a reformation that changes you and I into who Jesus died for us to become. That he takes ordinary, uneducated fishermen and makes them men and women. Very common, unordinary, strange, bizarre, unique, weird. Look at the disciples. They're a bag of bag of pot of misfits. These are just, they're they're just all kind of normal, ordinary, messed up people. And they were in a journey of, I mean, they want to call down fire and kill people. Yeah, Peter swearing, I don't know him. According to the Southern Baptist, he committed blaspheme against the Holy Ghost. And I'm just here, put this in your pipe and smoke it. 52 days later, he leads thousands of people to Jesus. You got a demoniac just got 6,000 demons cast out of him, and Jesus sends him down to a 10 city region. A woman just was living with a man. Just been through five broken marriages. Can you imagine a woman in the church in this room right now? And everybody in the room knowing she'd been married five times and was shacking with some guy. Y'all don't hear me. She runs to the and brings the whole city to Jesus. Did you see her the Pharisees in that room? God can't use her. She's a whore. God can't use her. She's been divorced and remarried. God can't use her. She's damaged goods. God can't use that guy. He ain't been delivered. He ain't mature enough. He can't be used. Let me tell you something. God'll use every man and woman in this room that'll give him their yes. Every man and woman in this room that'll put their hand to the plow and not look back and take up their cross and follow him every day. He'll grow you, mature you, develop you, and raise you up for such a time as this. I'm standing in front of a generation of nation changers. I'm standing in front of a generation that I believe will turn Missouri, Oklahoma, and every other surrounding state upside down for the glory of God. The power of God to take our nation is here. The power of God to have revival that will change the fabric of our culture is in this room right now. The power of God to raise up the next generation is in this room. But you got to get over the naysayers, you got to get over the backbiters, you got to get over the ones that walk away from you, and you got to focus on the call of God, and you got to mature the ones that are in front of you and quit crying over the people that left you. I need to preach in the room today. As long as we're trying to herd those that left us. This is not what we do on Sunday morning. This is who we are seven days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. And every one of you in this room matters to the kingdom. Every one of you in this room are a light on a hill that can't be hid. Every one of you in this room have the same Holy Ghost I have. Every one of you in this room have giftings and callings and purposes in your life. And it's time for you to use them. That ministry is not just what I do in the four walls of this great church. Ministry is who I am. Ministry flows out of me just like the fruits of the Spirit flow out of me. Whoa, it got tight. Ministry flows out of us. It's the nature because it's the reflection of us bearing the image of Jesus. Jesus' ministry is what he did, not what he went to the synagogue to do. Peter on his way to the synagogue heals a crippled man, causes a riot in on his way to pray. Will y'all stand with me all over the building? Will you let me prophesy to you? Will you let me tell you why? As much as I love Dan and Sarah, and as much as I love the leaders in this room, and as much as I would come, I promise you, I would come mow their grass. I give you my word before God. I love them that much. I really would. If Jeff and Gretchen Att called me and said, hey Bishop, we're in a mess. You know, I'm down in my back and I can't get my grass mowed. Nobody in the church will come mow it, I'd go mow their grass. I really would. But that's not why I'm here. I'm in Missouri because God told me what he was going to do in Missouri. God told me what he was going to do in Missouri. This is a strategic region in America where God is going to do something that's going to shake our nation. I know that. I don't just go places just to go places. I'm not being, it's not because I'm special, it's not because I'm somebody. It's not because I have anything special on my life other than God has my yes. And I'm on an assignment, and I'm going to stay faithful to that assignment to the regions that God sends me to, and to the pastors that He told me, son, I've got these pastors hidden all over rural America, and they've not bowed their knee. I'm going to raise them up and they're going to raise up a generation. I know it's coming. And Missouri is where it's coming. And I believe I'm standing in front of the people that God is trying to use in Missouri. I believe that with every fiber of who I am. But can I tell you something? To get to that place is not one of, is not an end at the altar. It starts making an altar every day. Whether in the church building or in your living room or beside your bed or in your bed, wherever you can wake up every day and say, God, this is not a Sunday morning event. I'm dying to myself today. And whatever obedience looks like to you today, you're Lord of my life. Here's my yes. Lord, I'm going to follow you. God, get out of me whatever you need to get out of me. It's pulling back the veil of your chest every day and say, God, search my heart, oh God. Because the heart is more wicked than any member of the body. And you got to understand that thing's deceptive, guys. You say, Oh, God knows my heart. He sure does. And it's a sad thing that you don't know your heart. Well, God knows my heart. Just the fact that you say that means that you're probably deceived. Because your actions reflect what your heart is in your heart. Please hear me. God ain't judging your heart. God's judging. You're going to get mad at me. Well, God knew the heart. God knows the heart. Yeah, because the behavior comes out of the heart. Your actions reflect what's in your heart. Your lifestyle reflects what's in your heart. We judge ourselves based on our heart. That's why David said, search me, oh God. Create in me a clean heart. I can't fix my heart. And God can't fix a heart that you won't let God you want expose to God. Get everything in me that's resistant to change. Get everything in me that's resistant to me becoming like you. My prayer is every day of my life, every night, every night. I'm not there yet. I'm not there yet, but I am not getting off the wheel. I'm praying, God, make me one. Make me one, Lord. Get out of me. Whatever, Lord, don't you turn your face away from my sin. God, expose whatever's in my heart. Pull it out. God, you pull it out. Expose it to me, because if you expose it to me, I can repent. And if I repent, you'll convert me. If I repent, he'll change me. That's what the word says. Repent and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out. God, search me. What in us is resistant to what God wants to do in our life? How many of you didn't understand that the righteous are as bold as lions? Say that when we the righteous are as bold as lions. Look at me. Don't ever tell me, well, it's not in my, it's just not in my nature. I'm just not created to be that way. See, there you go. You're resistant to what God says. You're resistant for God using you to be bold, courageous. And being bold and courageous doesn't mean being rude and boisterous. It just means I'm not afraid. I'm bold. I'm going to share my faith. I'm going to let the light shine. I'm going to be courageous. When God says, pray for that person. I'm going to pray for that person. When God says prophesy to that late drugstore that's trying to tell me, you know, what about my prescription? I'm going to give her that word of knowledge. Are you hearing me? I'm going to love people that seem unlovable. If God asks me to do something, I'm just going to do it. And I'm not going to ask him where's the money going to come from. I'm just going to go do it. You hear me? It's just a daily surrender of obedience to be bold, to be courageous, to do what God asks you to do. And not worry about what people are going to say. Not worry where I'm going to fit into the clique or the club or my family's going to get mad at me. Or friends are not going to walk with me no more. If they all forsake me, that's okay. Come on, man. Jesus is tight. This is the life he's looking for from every one of us in this room. You are that generation. Guys, I'm not pumping you up. I'm not blowing you full of smoke. I'm calling you to the call of God on your life. He chose you to be conformed to the image of Jesus. Quit making excuses to be like Bill, George, Mary, Sue, Betty, Janice, Jane. Be like Jesus. And start letting his masterful hands mold you. Bow your heads with me. First of all, in this room tonight, if there's anybody in this room, say, Lance, if I died right now, I'm not born again. If I stand before God right now, I don't know. If doubt your salvation, I doubt you're saved. Because see, when I got born again, and when a man gets born again and he walks with God, he has a spirit, the spirit of God that bears witness that we're the children of God. See, I don't question. I know that I have a spirit of adoption whereby I cry Abba Father. I know that I know that I know that I know without a raisable. Listen, if I die, don't you cry over my dead body because I'm telling you, you jump up and down and celebrate because the day my eyes close in this life, I will open them in the presence of God without a flesh suit. I will open them in heaven to be absent from the bodies, to be present with the Lord. And I know where I'll spend eternity without reservation. So when people tell me, well, Viz, if you make people doubt their salvation, if I make you doubt your salvation, it's probably because you're not saved. I'm not being mean and I'm not judging you. The Bible said, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. It should not be something you hope you have. You need to know. And listen, I may just be the only guy in the world that just got so free from religion that I'm not ashamed to tell people the truth, even if you cuss me out in the parking lot. It's not gonna matter. Because I'm the one that's got to put my head on the bill of the pillow tonight and give an account to God if I said what I know than to go to hell happy. I'd rather for you to know. I'd rather for you to reaffirm and reassure and know you're going to heaven than to wonder, Am I saved? I hope, I hope I can make it. The devil's a liar. If you're in the room tonight while people are praying, guys, I need y'all to help me. If you're in this room, you'd say, Lance, if I died right now, I don't know. I'm not sure, but I want to know. I want to get right. I want to follow Jesus. I want to be born again. I want to be full of the Spirit. I want to live for God. If that's you and you're you you're just you just know I'm not sure, or maybe you walk with God and you fell into that trap and you become a prodigal and you walked away from God, He's there if you'll come home. He is He is still loves you. He's not giving up on you. He's the author and the finisher. If you'll put yourself back in His hands, He'll finish making a masterpiece. If you're in this room tonight and you're a prodigal, need to come home. You're in this room tonight and you say, Lance, I don't know if I'm born again. I need to get saved tonight. I need to know that I'm born again. If that's you, I'm gonna count to three. And I want you to raise your hand, raise it boldly, raise it courageously. We're not gonna be ashamed, we're not gonna be afraid. Come on, because he said, if you're ashamed of me before man, I'll be ashamed of you before my father. But he said, if you confess me before man, I'll confess you before my father. If you want to really be a follower of Jesus, you fight with God at the count of three. Raise your hand. One, two, three, raise them high. Raise them high. Anybody in the room, say that's me, Bishop. Pray for me. Pray for me. Pray for me. Anyone in the room? How many of you in this room tonight want to become who Jesus died for you to become? You want to become that light on a hill? You want to become that vessel of honor, that vessel of gold in the kingdom. If that's you, raise your hand. I want every man and woman in the room that wants that more than anything else. I want to be that person. Guys, that's about the whole church. Then I'm going to ask you all, will you come and meet me in this altar? If you could come and kneel. Listen, I'm not interested in laying hands on you because I can't give you what you're asking for. This is something you got to come after God and pull your heart back and say, God, clean me up. I'm coming after you, God. I want you. I need you, God. I don't want to settle. I don't want to miss who you've called me to be. I don't want to miss what you died and rose again for me to become. I don't want to get, I don't want to get stagnant in my spiritual growth. I don't want to become complacent in my journey with you. God, I need the fire of God. I need the Spirit of the Lord. God, fill me house tonight. God, I pray tonight that that, Lord, there would be winds of refreshing that would begin to blow in this altar, God. I pray, God, that hearts would be purged, God, that a hunger would be established in our hearts tonight. God, I pray there'll be a travail that'll come out of this room tonight, God, of hungry people, God, that will move heaven and earth. I pray, God, that men and women will begin to cry out and travail for you, Lord. That God, we would begin to weep as you begin to cleanse our hearts, God, as you begin to purge the hindrances and the distractions and the things, God, that have been weights in our life. God, remove the weights, God. Get rid of the tethers. God, get rid of the hindrances, God. Get rid of the sin, God. Get rid of the distractions, God. Father, we commit ourselves to you tonight. We give our lives to you tonight, God. Lord, we recommit, Father, our devotion to you tonight, God. Lord, fill us tonight, God, with the hunger, God, but with the hunger and a determination and a tenacity, God, like we've never known before, God. Oh, God, don't let us grow weary in well-doing. Come, don't let us be looking. Come on, don't let us, Father, walk in the flesh. Oh God, lead us. Let your voice be loud to us tonight. Come on. Cause your rivers to emerge out of our valleys tonight, come on. Oh God, calls remembrance tonight, come on. Oh God, begin to just God renew us tonight. Renew us would come off of us tonight, come on. Let every strong hole be broken, come on. Let every demonic assumption of the enemy would be conquered in the name of Jesus. God, you would raise up a triumphant generation of sons and demoters that are sold out, God. Sons and demoters, God, that live. That live. Come on, who what you've called us to live every day. Purge us, God, purge us. Cleanse us, Lord. Oh God, may there be desperation in our hearts tonight, God. Desperation in our hearts tonight, God. Oh God, tonight I pray, I pray, God, that God, we would pray tonight like we've never prayed, God. That we would cry out with a cry, God, like we never cried out with. God, I pray men and women will pray like Hannah prayed. Oh God, that we would want to give birth. Oh God, to Your promise, Lord. That God, tonight we would we would pray God past our vocabulary.

SPEAKER_02

That we would that as Eli looked at Hannah, her lips were moving. But God, there was no words. She prayed past her vocabulary. God, take us to that place of deep travail.

SPEAKER_04

Take us to that place of brokenness. Take us to that place of true hunger, God, to where we long for more than the air that we breathe. Purge us, God. Create in us a clean heart, God. Renew our minds, Lord. Pull up roots of bitterness tonight, God. God, insecurities, old hurts. God, unsettled issues we've been carrying. Purges, God. We can't be offended. We got no place for offense in our life. Forgive us for offenses.

SPEAKER_02

I don't want anything in me that grieves you, God. Ah, get it out. God, we can't have anything in us that quenches you. Nothing, nothing, nothing that grieves you, Lord. Get it out. We repent. The pride. The pride of life. The lust. Any of it, God, get it out. Anger. Resentment. Jealousy. Get it out. Selfish ambitions. Get it out. Unforgiveness. Oh, God, forgive us.

SPEAKER_04

unknown

God.

SPEAKER_04

God, remove the weights that have hindered us, God. Remove the excuses. Remove the things that we've been unwilling to allow you to change, God. We surrender. Lord, we, Lord, Jesus, Jesus groaned in the garden, Lord. You sent angels to minister to him in the garden. Now, God, send even ministering, the ministering angels, God, to minister to us tonight, God. That, Lord, that every man and woman would overcome every obstacle tonight, that every every hindrance, God, every weight be removed, God, that everything, God, that we need minister to to become who you've called us to become. God, minister to us tonight, God. Minister to us as we surrender. Strengthen us tonight, God, by the power of the Holy Ghost. Send your ministering angels tonight, God. Strengthen your church. Heal marriages tonight, God. That have been fragmented. That it'd be hearts and marriages tonight, God. Restore and rekindle love one for another tonight. Heal your body tonight, God. God, if there is differences in this room, if there's indifferences and differences and divisions, heal them tonight, God. That not one person carries an odd against another. Oh, God, may we be one flesh tonight. God, make us one flesh tonight. Make us one bread tonight, God. Cause this body. And those bodies represented. Father, from different diverse places. Become one body tonight. For the cause, God. For the cause of the kingdom. For the glorification of the name of Jesus. Do we see revival and reformation transform our nation?

SPEAKER_01

Guys, I I know. I don't even know what time it is. I never I never really think about time. But if if I could just have your your attention. I really felt tonight, even in the beginning of the service during worship. Guys, how many of you in this room feel like you've been carrying weights that have been holding you back from the assignment and the purpose of God? Maybe tonight God showed you what some of those weights were. Maybe they've been sins, and it doesn't matter. Nobody's asking you to make confessions publicly, none of that stuff. But if you just feel like there's some things that have held you back and some struggles you've been having that's just prohibited you from the purpose and the assignment of God for your life, and you just feel like there's been weights. I've just felt it tonight as weights. And you call it whatever. Maybe you got another word for it, but I felt like it was weights holding you back. How many people in the room have that? You just feel like I've got some weights. I'm weights that need to come off in the water tonight, whether they're physical infirmities, whether they're whether they're sicknesses, whether they're they're they're struggles you've been having in the flesh, whether they're weights, just things that you've been carrying, struggles and battles that you've been having tonight. I just feel I feel like God's gonna remove stuff tonight in the water. I need you to bury some of that stuff. Leave it in the liquid grave. Come on, get it off of you tonight. Whatever you do. So I'm gonna, I'm gonna, if if Pastor Dan would, I think they're gonna open the waters. If you feel if you feel the Holy Spirit wants you to do that, I'm gonna challenge you because I felt it strongly during worship tonight. And uh so I didn't I didn't even know to ask him if the if the pool was ready, but it uh he said yes when I asked him just a minute ago. So guys, if you need to get in the water, Pastor Dan will come and tell you how to do that. And uh if you need to get in the water and just get some stuff and leave some stuff in that pool tonight, do that.
