Welcome back to today's episode of The Gathering Tabernacle Podcast! Today's episode we have Pastor Sarah talking about how to have faith and works. The Lord will fill every vessel in your life if you trust Him to. Faith does not make God move; it only accepts what He has already done. Is there something that you need to give God? We must put our faith into action. You are who God says you are. You can't just hope the Lord will come in and fix everything but rather be intentional in your walk with the Lord. Seek and knock and the door will be opened for you. Trust in the Lord and Happy Mother's Day!

SPEAKER_02So we all have these little jewels, right? Cell phones. Most of us do. Danny, you got one now, right? Okay, Danny's got one. So most everybody has one. So when I pick this up and then do do do do do do, and I'm calling my my little Conrad and he says, Hey, May May, do you think that that was there? Do you think that the radio waves are working before I saw them? Do you believe, because there's radio waves out there, right, that we can't um see? Faith. Hebrews 11. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen, right? So a substance. You can see my phone, right? Evidence means it's there, you just don't see it. Because he said, evidence of things not seen. Evidence is there, but you can't see it. There's something in the air that makes this phone call Conrad, but I can't see it. Do you believe it's there? Is it when you hear Conrad say yes? Or is it before? It's before. That's faith. But there's many people that don't. They don't realize there's a spiritual realm. There's something going on that they can't perceive with their senses, so therefore they don't believe. If they can't see it, hear it, feel it, touch it, taste it, they don't believe it. In the scripture, it says if we walk in the spirit, we won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. Can you see the spirit? No. You've got to be walking in it. So some people believe. I got this out of Andrew Woolmack's book. Some people think if they believe something is real when it is not, and believe hard enough and long enough, it will become real. It will not. There's things in the spirit that exist that we can't see with our senses. To think they don't exist because we can't see them is wrong. There are demons. There's angels. There's radio waves. There's Wi-Fi that works that I don't know how. Faith, hmm. Jesus has paid for everything for us and it exists in the spiritual realm. And we can't see it with the five senses. When it manifests, we can. But if you don't know that Jesus has paid for your healing, your deliverance, everything to make you whole, then you're just eyeballing it. You're just guessing. You're just hoping. You're praying. You're wanting the good vibes. They're not coming because you have to be able to see it. God said, let there be light. Do you not know he saw light beforehand? He saw it in his mind and he spoke it. You have to be able to see it, to believe it, to speak it, to receive it for it to manifest. Wonder why things aren't happening. We're not doing it correctly. Faith doesn't make God do anything, it only accepts what God has already done. Faith doesn't make God do anything, it only accepts what he's already done. Are you accepting what he's already done? Are you living in hell? Are you living in the heaven, the peace and the joy of the Lord we serve that is paid for you to be free, made whole and alive? It's a choice. Faith is the hand that picks up the spoon. If I leave this spoon in the drawer and never pick it up, it ain't doing nothing. I'm just eyeballing a little bit of this and a little bit of that. And if I talk to Dan nice, he'll be nice to me. And if I give my kids everything they want and I go to everything and I never take them to church, I'm sure they'll be great. Wrong. As a mama, we have a responsibility. We pour the word of God, we speak the faith, we believe it into our children, and we continue till we see it manifest in the flesh. Faith is a decision to trust what God has said over what you feel. Some days I don't feel like it. Some days it looks like it ain't gonna work. Some days nobody shows up. Some days nobody cares. It's not about that. It's about what my God has done. It's about what the word he has given me said. And I'm gonna believe that until I see his face. Faith is action. Andrew has on the shirt. Faith is an action. Faith is an action. If you aren't doing it, you aren't doing faith. In James it says, be doers of the word, not just hearers only. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. But I believe if you hear the word of God and you're not doing the word of God, how much word of God did you really hear? I don't know if I can say that again, but you got it, right? We can hear and hear. I'm sure mama says, Sarah, don't do that. Sarah, don't do that, Sarah, don't do that. I just kept doing it, right? Until there were some consequences. Maybe my hand got smacked. We will see the widow did just not hear the directions. She followed them precisely. Don't eyeball it. Don't eyeball it. You'll get what the world has when you eyeball it. And I promise you it will fail you. But we got to know some things. We got to know authority. If I don't know that the word of God, I can pick it up and I can speak to things, then you don't know nothing. Authority is the right to use the spoon. We have to know we have the right. Last week Pastor Dan had Ray Sean up here. Ray Sean had on his big badge. And I can imagine when you see the policeman standing out in the road and he's all crisp and he raises his hand. We just stop. We don't know if something's wrong. We don't know nothing, right? We just stop because we understand authority. If you understand authority, you'll be under Jesus. Luke 10, 9. Look, I have given you authority over all the powers of the enemy. You can walk among the snakes and the scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you. Stop being afraid of what you can't see. You've been given power and authority. That's over every demonic, every lying spirit, ever sickness, ever illness, every marriage that's down the hill, every addiction. You have power over it. He just said it. It is written. How Jesus defeated him? It is written. It is written with the word. It is written. You gotta know. It is written. And let me tell you, if you don't know, you have authority. The seven sons of Skevia, what happened to them? They gotta spanking and they got to run out with a little less clothes, right? I'm telling you, the demonic knows when you don't know. But the name of Jesus is the name above all names, and it has power and it has authority, and every name has to bow. So 2 Kings 4, 3 through 4. And Elisha said, borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbors. Then go into the house with your son, shut the door behind you, pour olive oil from the flask into the jars, setting one aside, setting each one aside when it is filled. So there was a voice of authority. Elisha was the voice at that time, the prophet. Do you go to the voice of authority? Do you go to somebody who believes by faith in what the Word of God says? Or do you go to Google? Do we listen to authority? Or do we just eyeball it? You know? Google, how many jars do I need to pay this debt so I don't have to sell my sons? Hey, Stace, they said I need to get these jars. I don't know what to do. Do you think I should do it? What do you think? It's not gonna help you. It's not that Stacy doesn't have godly wisdom. She does, and I'm thankful. But if I went to somebody who didn't, what are you gonna get back? Well, that pastor told you that you should pray daily and you should read your word and you should love your husband and you should do this to your kids and you should do this and you should do that. Do you think he's right? If it lines up with the word of God, you bet he is. Or her. He said, empty the jar, shut the door, pour it, and set it aside. We've got to learn to follow authority. Can I bottle it anymore? The widow, she carried it out. She didn't hesitate. I don't believe she hesitated. I want each woman, each woman here to know, as a woman of God, you have the badge of authority inside you. The Holy Spirit is there. He has given you authority to pray for your kids, to pray for the prodigal, to pray for your husband, to speak the name of Jesus, the exact words of God, and to know that it comes true. I'm telling you, there's power in the name of Jesus. And when you follow the instructions, you should get the perfect cake. Right? If you believe the word of God and you follow it, you will get what you believe. So you gotta have some power. So I can pick the spoon up knowing what it is. I'm using it. I have the authority. I got anything in the spoon? Power. You've got to have power that fills the spoon. Acts 1, 8. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere. In Jerusalem and throughout Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth, in Walmarts, in the dollar store, at the tent revival, at your job. Driving down the road, you can yell, hey, Jesus loves you at school, little children. And that word power. Boom. That's the power that is. And it's a dynamite. Gotcha, right? It's like it's dunymus, dynamite power. You carry heaven's supply. And I'm promising you, it won't run out. The Holy Spirit, He's so good. He's so faithful. He's alive. He's in you. He makes you alive. The same power that rose Jesus from the grave lives inside you. Hallelujah. Second Kings 4, 5 through 6. So she did as she was told. She's obedient. She followed instructions. Her sons kept bringing jars to her, and she filled one after another. Soon every, every, every container was full to the brim. He fills you to the brim. Run. I mean, like you're over your head, full. There aren't any more, she told him. And the olive oil stopped flowing. Now don't let somebody lie to you and tell you, God stopped filling. She quit receiving. She filled up all that she had. I get that. But don't you forget if there had been one more jar, my God would have filled one more jar and one more jar and one more jar. So when you open yourself up to be filled, he'll keep filling. Don't ever close yourself off to him. You know. She wasn't like this. And sometimes I'm like this. Maybe you, maybe not. I'm watching it drip. You think it's gonna fill up? You think we have enough? I don't know. I don't know. Maybe. It filled up. He fills you up. Don't doubt. It's not gonna stop running. It's not gonna stop. Nobody can shut it off. Proverbs 18, 21. The tongue can bring death and life. I used to say life and death. But then I read it properly. The tongue can bring death. What comes out of your mouth, if it's not the word of God, you're receiving death. Those who love to talk will reap the consequences. I'm gonna speak life. I'm gonna speak the word of God. Sometimes people text me things, and if I seem harsh, I apologize because I really try to wrap it in love, but I'm gonna speak the word of God. I cannot give you any death because if I give you death, it is not helping you. It's putting you in the grave. Because when I give you death, you'll believe it, you'll speak it, and the next person's gonna agree with you. And now we got a whole bunch of people believing death, and we're just going down as a failure, right? So we repent. Lord, forgive me where I spoke death, but I speak life, and I speak life more abundantly. I speak the word of God, I receive the word of God, I will be what you say I am. Because as mothers, as women, we have an authority, we have a power. We're given and we are called to speak what he says. So don't calibrate it against what Google says. Calibrate it against the word of God. The word of God is true. It doesn't go void, it doesn't change. It's the same yesterday, today, and forever. But if you don't read it and hear it and receive it, you don't know it. You can't. I used to just read it. I won't lie. I used to just read it, and I did nothing with it. And I thought I was good. Until my husband got baptized in the Holy Spirit. And it looked like all hell was breaking loose in our family. And it looked, I didn't believe in divorce, but it looked like divorce was coming. I wanted to run, I wanted to hide, I hated everything. All I spoke was death, death, death, death. Reading the word, but not receiving it to be able to use it. If I take all the ingredients for the cake and I don't mix them up, they don't become a cake. They're just ingredients. If you don't take his word and use it, it's of no value. God's word is valuable. I'm not saying that, so don't think that. Do you understand what I'm saying? If you don't use it, you can't produce it. Hallelujah. Faith picks up the spoon. Authority gives you the right, and the power fills it. When you keep pouring the oil, it does never stop. He fills every vessel and every debt is paid. So in 2 Kings 4 7, when she told the man of God what had happened, he said to her, Now sell the oil and pay your debts, and your sons can live on what is left over. He paid the debt and he left you money after. He paid the debt and there's something left after. There's always more than enough. There's no lack in the God we serve. And I like how the widow, you know, she went back to Alicia and she told him the miracle. You know, in the five-year anniversary video, we watched what the Lord has done here in five years, and I had some people say, I seen it on the video, but I'd forgot it. So when you remind somebody of what the Lord's done, the miracles keep happening. But he gave her an author, he told her, get ahead of myself. She returned to the voice of authority and was given more instructions. The word confirmed the breakthrough, and he gave her a plan for what to do next. The miracle confirms, and the miracle tells you about the overflow. Have you ever seen a miracle? Have you ever seen somebody lose a miracle? I have too. And it confused me. I didn't understand it. But she but sometimes a person doesn't go to somebody of authority to help them show themselves who they are in Christ. If you don't know what to do with a miracle, and you start telling all the world, and the world says that's not of God, that can't be true, and you turn back. What happens when you turn back? You turn to salt. Think about that. I've seen the miracles, and it's not that the miracle disappeared, it's the belief in the miracle quit. Isaiah 55, 11. So shall my words go forth from my mouth. It shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please. It shall prosper in the things for which I sent it. Are you sending the word out believing that it will prosper? Are you sending out believing it will accomplish what it says? God always does what he says. Do we? The widow spoke the word of faith. Bring me another. And those words did not go empty. Every jar was filled, every debt was paid, and every son was freed. Is every child freed? Are all your children walking in the Lord? The debt's been paid, but are you still bringing the jar to be filled? It's kind of hard, right? The word works. When you measure everything against the word of God, you take it up and you're willing to use it. I promise you, by the authority and the faith and the power of what God has given us, you will see results. Because if you can see them in the spirit, if you can see it in the spirit, you'll believe it. If you're having trouble seeing, ask the Lord to show you what's my prodigal look like. When are they coming home? When will I have no lack? I promise you, when you can see with the eyes of God, you ain't see nothing yet. It's so good. He's so faithful. Josh, will you put on some altar music, please? What are you measuring with? Is it a standard of God or of the world? Do we just eyeball it because it's easier? Do we just eyeball it because we don't have time? Do we just eyeball it because I don't care? I don't care today. We're hoping for the best. But I promise you, when you use a teaspoon for a tablespoon, it ain't gonna work out. The Lord says, What is your need? The lady had a need. She had a debt. She had a deadline. She had sons that were gonna be sold as slaves. Do you have children that are being sold as slaves to the world? Is there hate in your life? Is there a death that's happened? Is there addiction? Are there things you love more than the Lord? Do you have doubt and fear? Maybe you have nightmares. Maybe you don't sleep. Maybe you're the slave to the world. The Lord said to me this morning, as I said, the altars are open. But he said, the lady said, I have a little oil. And she went to the authority of God. And he told her what to do to be filled. At this altar, you can be filled. At this altar, you can get free. At this altar, you can become whole. Some of you may not know Jesus, but today is the day. A day of salvation. It's always about the salvation. So if there's anybody here that doesn't know him, he's waiting. He's never changed his mind about you. He's never stopped saying, That's mine. She's coming. Is there anybody here that needs to make Jesus their Lord? Is there anyone that you just don't know? I could have told you 99.9. And I looked really good in church. But I would have set hell open hell wide open. And the problem is, the day I got saved, which is a great thing, the Lord said, You're taking people to hell with you. I was the biggest counterfeit there was. I didn't know it. Not till that moment. You may not know it until this moment. But I'm asking, does anybody need to make Jesus their Lord? If not, as I've said, the altars are open. But he said, when they bring me, this is water out of my kitchen, tap. He said, when they bring me the empty vessel or the vessel that has lack to me, give them a bottle full. And let it be a representation that I filled them full. They are full in me. There's not one thing I haven't done. There's not one thing I haven't forgiven. There's not one thing he wouldn't do for you. The only thing he won't do for you is submit it for you. He can't. And it's hard sometimes to realize maybe my vessel's broken. Maybe it's leaking out. What is it with you? What is it that has made you so broken that you just don't know anymore? We have a God of creation. He loves you so much that he said his only begotten son. So whoever called upon him would be saved. There's no shame in being broken. There's no shame. There's no condemnation in Jesus Christ. But if you hold it, the devil will give you all the shame you want. I promise you. You'll be in anger, you'll be in hate, you'll be in doubt, you'll be in disbelief. You won't believe anything the word of God says or a man or woman of God preaches because you'll be broken. But he wants to fill you up. Are you really willing to bring the vessel that you have? Whatever you have, when you lay it at his feet, when you give it to him, you will receive a complete infilling of who Jesus Christ is. He's faithful. Sometimes life just happens. Life's not fair. This week my stepdad passed away on Monday. It wasn't what I expected. But the sweetest thing I saw was a smile on his face because he knew where he was going. He told me the night before that he'd had a um chills from a fever, and he said he shook so bad he couldn't even text to say how he was. He said that I didn't care because he said maybe I'm going home to see my Jesus. He knew where he was going. He was ready to be filled completely. A smile on a dead man's body. And his hand was lifted up. My God is faithful. And this day my stepdaddy is in heaven dancing with Jesus. So are you ready? Are you ready? We're not promised tomorrow. Is there something that you need to give God? I promise when you take the word of God and believe by faith what he's done is enough, and you make it produce Jesus out of you, you are made whole. There'll be peace, there'll be joy, there'll be happiness. Not that that's around you, but he is the God of peace. Joy, love, goodness, self-control. I think sometimes I thought about this as a something that's broken in a lot of people. Probably because I do it sometimes. A tintra tantrum. I watched my two-year-old grandson have one this week, and he was screaming and trying not to breathe. You ever had a tintra tantrum with your parents? With your husband? With God? We should repent. Sometimes fear brings that on. Hate, unknowing, not caring, your busyness. You're full, but it's with the word. World, not the word. You're full of the world. Hallelujah. God is good. God is faithful. He is amazing. He is righteous. He is worthy. He is why we are here. He is why we read his word. He is why we have faith. He is why we are alive. He is why we are risen and seated in heavenly places. Woo! That's the God we serve. We may have been defeated, but we take up his cross and we apply it and we do everything his word says. And we live like warriors. We live like kings. We live like moths who are gonna fight to the death for our children and our families. We remain holy. We remind we serve a good God. And as a pastor, one of the pastors of this church, I tell you, each and every woman and each and every man that is here, I am proud of you. I'm proud to gather with you. I'm proud to be a part of a kingdom where we advance because we are the hands and the feet of God. I'm proud because you are who he says you are. He's good. Lord, I thank you for what you've done this day. Lord, I thank you that you are good. Lord, I thank you that the word never goes forward and never returns without the results that you intended. If we believe by faith in what you've said, Satan is a liar, he's defeated, he's under our feet, God is exalted, and Jesus Christ is king in the mighty name of Jesus. Hallelujah. What a blessing. Lord bless them with every promise, every inheritance that you paid for. May they have eyes to see and ears to hear what the Word of God promises, and by faith they will take it up and they will make it multiply in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_01Amen. What a wonderful day. Love on your mothers. How about we get all the mothers up here and pray over them right quick? Amen. I'm thinking we make a tight circle and then we'll get all the men to get around the mothers. Come on in. Come on in. And like Pastor said, when you're a mother, you're a mother in the spirit, too. We'll get the guys come up. We'll make a circle around them all. Hallelujah.
unknownHallelujah.
SPEAKER_01Let me get inside.
unknownThank you.
SPEAKER_01Whatever he says to do, do it. Amen. Amen. The woman told him to do that, right? So, you women, whatever he says to do, do it. We expect great things out of each and every one. Oh, Father, we thank you. Father, we praise you, Lord. Lord, we speak life, Lord, into each and every one of these women, Lord. Lord, we just speak your power and glory, Lord, over them right now, Lord. Lord, may the love just pour in them through them and out of them, Lord. Lord, from the top of their heads, Lord, to the tip of their toes, Lord. Lord, we just speak life over them, Lord. Life and life abundantly, Lord. Yes, Lord, you are worthy. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord, we thank you. Yes, Lord, we praise you, Lord. We thank you, Lord, for confidence, Lord. We thank you, Lord, for sound minds, Lord. We thank you, Lord, that they are worthy, Lord. They are worthy. Not because of what they're doing, Lord, but because of what you did, Lord. Lord, we praise you. We honor you, Lord. We up your holy name, Lord. Lord, as you wrap your leavened arms around them, Lord, right here, right now, Lord. Lord, that you're the only one, Lord, that that can the person, Lord. So we speak comfort, Lord, these mighty women of God, Lord, right now, Lord. Lord, as they rest in you, Lord, Lord, we speak rest, Lord, into each and every one of them, Lord. We speak strength, Lord, into each and every one of them, Lord. Lord, as they go out, Lord, Lord, as you're the head, Lord, and they're the body, Lord. Lord, just as much as a man is part of the body, the women is part of the body too, Lord, as they go out, Lord, and be the hands and feet and mouthpiece of Jesus, Lord, as they stand on the word of God in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Amen, amen, amen. Have a wonderful week. We'll see you Wednesday. Oh, she got these vials, Pastor Sarah. She got them by their vials. She's got vials for you too that are overflowing.
